Sunday afternoons at AgeCare SkyPointe.
A weekly social afternoon with residents at a care facility in northeast Calgary, run in partnership with the Muslim Food Bank.
Board Games and Company
Volunteers sit down with residents for a game of cards, chess, dominoes or whatever is on the table, and stay for the conversation. That is the whole job — good company for a couple of hours on a Sunday. No experience or training is needed, and you do not need to commit to every week.
The Muslim Food Bank is providing volunteers alongside us and helping with supervision on the day.
Email assad@ephraimstatcare.ca or call 587-891-9131 to be told when sign-up opens.
